Earth is often called the "water planet." On this planet, where water is so vast, we tend to think we'll never have to worry about water shortages. But is that really true?

A. Approximately 97.51 TP3T of water on Earth is seawater, and only a mere 0.011 TP3T of water on Earth is usable by humans.

Two-thirds of the Earth's surface is covered by water. This water plays a vital role in the Earth's environment. However, when viewed from the perspective of the entire Earth, the volume of water is very small. Although water covers a large surface area, the amount it occupies in terms of volume is small.

Most of the water we have is seawater, and only a small fraction of it is usable for drinking or daily life.

Water can be divided into seawater and freshwater. Seawater contains salt, while freshwater contains little to no salt. Freshwater accounts for less than 31 TP3 T of all water, and of that, only about 0.011 TP3 T is usable for human life.

As a result, various water resource problems, such as water shortages and pollution, are occurring around the world. Some countries are beginning to focus on water education in order to protect water and ensure its future.
