OCEAN BOTTLE is a brand born in the UK to solve the problem of marine plastic pollution. For every bottle sold, they donate the cost of collecting 1,000 plastic bottles (approximately 11.4 kg) that have been discarded into the ocean. This direct approach stems from the experience of one of the founders, Will Pearson, a former fishing boat crew member who was shocked by the massive amount of garbage filling the ocean on Thilafushi Island in the Maldives. The bottles come in a variety of sizes and shapes, including wide-mouthed and straw-equipped options. They have also obtained B Corp certification, awarded to companies that balance profit and public benefit while considering social and environmental concerns.
