Inside Touch (making movie)
"touch" is a large-scale installation set against the backdrop of the sea, created by designer and professor of Integrated Design at Tama Art University, Tsuneo Nagasaki. Based on his research theme "Ambience Design," which attempts to theoretically unravel the "sense of atmosphere" in space and products, the installation visualizes and makes the complex yet regular "correspondence" between the sea and people tangible through uniquely developed sensor lights. The work was created with the participation of 54 people, including students, alumni, and alumnae of the Integrated Design Department at Tama Art University. 3710Lab conducted a "Sea Class" at the university for the participating students, exploring the relationship between the sea and people and its significance in design. The interview with Nagasaki and the production scenes in the video were filmed over approximately six months, from August 2025 to February 2026.
